Meaningful change
starts here
Together, we can better understand what is keeping you stuck, build the skills to navigate what is difficult, and create meaningful change.
Meet Jenny,
I'm a Houston based Licensed Clinical Social Worker and current clincal fellow at the Petoskey Center.
My approach to therapy is warm, curious, trauma-informed, and curated to fit your pace. Together, we will work to understand what is happening, why it is happening, and where change is possible.
I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), along with other evidence based approaches. These frameworks provide practical tools for working with emotions, relationships, behavioral patterns, thought spirals, hopelessness, and the situations where self-awareness alone has not been enough.
What I believe
Life is not always easy. Difficult things happen, and sometimes there is no way around the pain that comes with them.
Therapy is not about pretending otherwise.
It is about learning how to meet life as it is while staying connected to yourself, the people around you, and the things that give your life meaning.
My hope is that through therapy, you will develop greater self-understanding, stronger skills, deeper self-respect, and greater confidence in your ability to navigate whatever comes next.
You do not have to figure it all out alone.

Individual therapy provides a space to better understand yourself, work through challenges, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful change. I work collaboratively with teens and adults to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, perfectionism, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

For parents and their children age 12+ | Virtual or in person | $150 for 50 minutes or $200 for 80 minutes
Family therapy focuses on improving communication, understanding patterns within the family, and strengthening relationships between parents and their children. Sessions provide a structured space for family members to better understand one another, work through conflict, and develop healthier ways of connecting.
Family therapy is available for families with children 12 and older. This service is focused on parent-child and family relationships and does not include couples counseling.
-
In-Person | 2-hour group | $125 per session | Every Wednesday 6:30 - 8:30 pm
This group provides a supportive, skills-focused environment for adults who want to strengthen their ability to manage emotions, navigate relationships, tolerate distress, and respond more effectively to life's challenges.
The group incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills with an emphasis on learning, practicing, and applying skills in real life. The group offers both support and accountability while helping participants move from simply understanding skills to actually using them.
-
Virtual | $50 per family, per session | Every Monday 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Supporting someone with mental health challenges can be difficult, confusing, and emotionally exhausting. This group provides a space for friends and family members to learn more about mental health, develop effective ways to offer support, and connect with others who understand the experience.
Each session combines psychoeducation and group discussion, with an emphasis on understanding mental health, improving communication, maintaining healthy boundaries, and taking care of yourself while supporting someone you love.
